• Overview
NMATâ„¢ is the MBA entrance exam for admissions to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai.
The NMATâ„¢ is designed on a multiple-choice question format that includes Language Skills; Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Logical Reasoning.
Candidates will get admission only if they meet the required standards of the selection process defined by NMIMS. All eligible candidates are required to appear for the computer based NMATâ„¢ to be conducted across the country. Short listed candidates will have to appear for Case Discussion and personal interview which will be held in Mumbai only.
The NMATâ„¢ is valid for entry into the following programs:
1. MBA Programs (Mumbai)
o MBA
o MBA (HR)
o MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)
2. PGDM Bengaluru and / or PGDBM Hyderabad
o PGDM - Bengaluru
o PGDBM – Hyderabad
• Eligibility
1. The candidate must be a graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in first attempt.
2. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply subject to clearing the final examination in first attempt with 50% aggregate marks.
3. For all the Full Time programs, candidates with two or more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.

• How to Apply?
1. Register online –
a) Visit www.nmat.org.in and click on Register for NMAT.
b) Click on the New User Registration button, accept the terms and conditions and then Fill in the required details in the online application form.
c) On the next screen, choose password, answer hint questions and click on the Submit button to register. The next screen will display your unique NMAT ID.
2. Make payment –
a) Make the payment at this stage or return later to make the payment.
b) Payment can be done in any of the 3 ways:
Payment at Bank branch - cash payment at one of the designated bank branches
Credit/Debit Card – online payment through credit/debit card
Demand Draft - payment through a demand draft
(If you decide to make the payment at a later stage, you need to re-login with your unique NMAT ID and Password. You will be directed to the payment screen.)
3. Schedule the test –
a) The application is duly accepted along with the fee by NMIMS.
b) An e-mail with the username and password to log on to www.pearsonvueindia.com/nmat/ is sent to the candidate.
c) Schedule the test on preferred date and location subject to availability.
