The subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) Apprentices Examination is the one which is carried out by Staff Selection Committee (SSC) for any Group C non Gazetted Ministerial posts in the office of Controller of General Defense Accounts. The candidates are selected through the SAS Apprentice exam are appointed as a Section Officer for Accounts. SAS is a type of departmental examination organized by SSC.

Pay Scale (Salary Credits!!)
The pay scale comes under Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade pay of Rs.4800
Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
Candidate must have University Degree of Honors’ OR either should have
done MA/M.Sc./M.Com OR Diploma of Chartered Accounts and the Costs and
Works Accounts from any of the renowned institutes as minimum
qualification.
The candidate should be an Indian citizen or a subject
of Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before
01.01.1962.
