• Overview
Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT 2015) is a state level entrance examination conducted by Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Medical University for the admission to Medical Courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and BUMS. The examination is conducted for the admission to various government colleges of Uttar Pradesh. This examination is usually held in the month of June every year.
• Eligibility
1. The candidate must have the minimum age of 17 years.
2. The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state (Uttar Pradesh) or the candidates who are not permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh but done their study from the schools or the board of Uttar Pradesh are also eligible for applying.
3. The candidates must have passed 12th examination or its equivalent from a government recognized state/central board with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English as the core subjects.
• Paper pattern
As per the latest syllabus of UPCPMT 2015, it contains Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The UPMT entrance examination comprises in two papers as one includes the physics and chemistry and second includes the zoology and botany. All subjects carry equal 50 questions. You need to attempt all 200 objective type questions within three hours. The UPCPMT entrance examination is conducted in both languages as Hindi and English.
• How to apply?
The application process of UPCPMT 2015 will be through the offline mode as it has been happening generally. The candidates will have to buy the application form along with the information booklet and OMR sheet from the designated branches of Central Bank of India (CBI) with payment of Rs. 1280/- for General candidates & OBC candidates and Rs. 680/- for SC/ ST candidates. The aspirants should read the information booklet before filling the form. The candidates should fill the OMR sheet carefully and blue or black ball point pen. After filling up the application form, the candidates will have to post their application form to “The Chairman, C.P.M.T – 2015, CSJM University, Kalyanpur, Kanpur – 208024, Uttar Pradesh by speed post or registered post.
